Mario Batković

• Born in 1980 in Banja Luka

• He has been living in Switzerland since 1991

• He started playing the accordion at the age of 4

• He studied classical accordion at the Conservatory in Hannover

• He has had numerous appearances as a solo musician, and in different bands (Dean Moriarty & The Dixie Dicks, The Beba Orchestra…)

• He composes and successfully arranges pieces for those bands

• He has also been engaged as the composer and musician for theatre productions of Meret Matter and Norbert Klassen

• He has been leading workshops in schools, and since recently abroad, he had a very successful solo appearance and promotion in South Africa

• Records and produces music for children
